Andrew received his Master's of Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino with a dual concentration of Clinical and School Counseling. Andrew has a focus on Narrative, Client-Centered Therapy. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and helping combat the ill-effects of systemic racism and oppression for communities of color, women, and those of a LGBTQ+ identity. Andrew has a specialized focus in grief counseling, focused in the theories Narrative Remembering conversations. This form of grief counseling rejects the old 5-stage model of grief and instead focuses on embracing the love and lessons learned from loved ones who have passed on.
Andrew is passionate and driven towards revolutionizing the mental health industry, normalizing treatment and providing quality mental health care that is accessible for all. In his free time, Andrew loves to play video games, read comics, play tabletop role-playing games, and go to Disneyland with his wife.
I have a passion for therapy, I am constantly learning and gathering information about new trends and emerging information in the psychology and therapy fields. I have a passion for video games, reading, and tabletop roleplaying games; I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for almost my entire life, starting with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons in the mid-Nineties and continuing even now with my campaign in 5th edition wherein I am the Dungeon Master for my Mom, Grandma, and younger sister. I love playing video games at a competitive level, I was one of the top Street Fighter 4 and Dragon Ball Fighterz players in the world, and I am world record holder for Speed-running Kingdom Hearts 1, my favorite game of all time! I have an extensive interest in Marvel Comics, my favorite hero is Black Panther, please ask me about anything! I love Disney movies and cartoons, my favorite Disney movie is Onward and my favorite Cartoon is the 2017 remake of Ducktales.

My wife, she believed in me when no one else did and she inspires me every moment of every day. Social Justice, the world is not fair, particularly if you are anything other than an Able-bodied, Heterosexual, CIS, White male. I want to right the wrongs of the past and move forward and help anyone who has suffered because of social injustice heal from that trauma.
